Smoke and Mirrors Hobby

In my younger years I used to collect all sorts of cards, but not any longer. I stopped by here to pick up a gift I ordered online for store pickup. Let me tell you, younger me would have spent hours at this store just checking out their collection of pokemon (and all sorts of other) cards and various collectibles. My online order was ready when it was supposed to be, pickup process took two seconds. While I was there I also asked about purchasing additional items for my friend’s gift. Person helping me was extremely friendly and pointed me in the right direction. From the outside you probably wouldn’t notice this store as it doesn’t have very large signage, but if you are ever in the area and collect cards or play games like Magic or Pokemon, I would suggest making a point to find this store and stop by. Store is well laid out, clean, had all sorts of collectibles at very reasonable prices, smelled amazing and most importantly, had some very friendly folks working there.If I ever need collector cards in the future I know where I’ll be checking first now.

One of the best places on earth if you’re a card collector! Even if not, the people in here are legit top tier. It’s a pleasure every time I walk in the place. Also, they’re awesome with the kids! I bring my 5 year old daughter in to pick out cards, and they seem to always make her smile. Not to mention the prices here are better than anywhere I’ve been. Overall, just a great place. 10/10

Incredible company to do business with. Although I have slowed down in the hobby quite a bit, this store is my go to vendor for any new and upcoming TCG products. Consistently the lowest price available and the customer service is fantastic. I believe Frank is the owner and he has always been personable, friendly, and understanding. One of the few TCG stores that truly knows the hobby and is out to help their customers/fans. Smoke and Mirrors Hobby sets the gold standard for customer service and how a store should operate. Such an awesome store carrying so many products!!! shopped there recently in person and got some decent pulls from a Paldea Evolved Booster Box from the store. If you are looking for any Pokémon products at very good prices and top notch customer service then this is the store for you!! Also they have an online store if you can't make it in person.

Please inspect the first 3 pictures of the additional scratches, how the cards are returned to me, and then the last 3 pictures, how it was before i let them handle my cards. They treated my cards so rouglhly it no longer reflects the same value. I was honestly shaking because how upset i am. I came into trade and value some of my cards , and now some of my mint cards have now come back with new surface scratches. Im honestly upset because i keep a very good record of all my cards, and the cards have not been treated with respect. These are not cheap cards that have these surface scratches. I can see it lowering the grade value. The first 3 pics are pictures after i came back to the shop, and the last 3 are pictures right before the shop. My legendary collection reverse holo alakazam is absolutely ruined. They took my cards to the backroom, which shows evidence that every single card have been removed from the top loader and the penny sleeves as well. The legendary collection reverse holos are extremely delicate cards and are easily scratched, i can only guess that he raw dogged the card on surfaces or maybe even shuffled between other cards raw... If you are trying to get your card valued, please have it done in front of you. Im so upset I dont even know what can be done except tell myself im probably out of loss here, but if the store is willing to talk with me, please reach me back, i left a voicemail. As for the store itself, the employees at the front were helpful, and the shop I really wanted to like this place, but the damage to my cards has left me upset. After communicating with the store they denied all wrongdoing.
